Facilities and EH&S Updates
The BIOCOM Facilities Committee provides continuing education opportunities for our members through the Facility Workshops. These events are quarterly luncheons that are geared towards facility managers and service providers but are open to all BIOCOM members. The sessions are focused around topics of interest as they relate to facilities, providing both informative presentations and an open exchange of ideas. Environmental Health and Safety Committee
This committee is focused on addressing and resolving issues pertaining to environmental regulatory and safety issues involved with running a life science company. The committee regularly takes positions on environmental bills in order to make recommendations to the Public Policy Committee and is also working on surveys that will better quantify the unique aspects of our industry in order to educate policymakers on the impact of certain regulations.
