Ability to explain financing mechanisms and how they impact day-to-day research and development activities.
Capability to read and understand financial plans, budgets and reports and apply fiscal realities to research and development operations.
Week Three: Product/Process/Regulatory Environment

Ability to explain the integration of translational functions – product, process and regulatory development – and understand the implications on all stages of research and development activities.
Assess the impact of scale, process control, and compliance on bench-scale processes developing into clinical and commercial-scale production.
Week Four: Marketing/Sales/Business Development
