Thore Buergel is the co-founder and CEO of Pheiron, an AI-native TechBio company. Pheiron is pioneering AI for human phenotyping to scale genetic evidence and enable a future in which every other drug succeeds. Pheiron’s AI platform integrates more than 50 -omics modalities to map the latent space of human health and disease, systematically connecting biological mechanisms to patient-level outcome. Thore holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Freie University Berlin, conducted research at Stanford University, the European Bioinformatics Institute and is a Honorary Lecturer at University College London. His research on multi-comic AI and human phenotyping has been featured in leading scientific journals.
