San Diego Revisits Transit Priority Areas
Biocom California staff testified at the City of San Diego’s Planning Commission meeting on October 27 regarding the city’s proposal to shrink Transit Priority Areas (TPAs) — land around transit stops where dense development is allowed to locate. The commission voted to continue the TPA proposal to the Planning Commission meeting on December 8.

International Women’s Day Conference for Title 1 High School Girls
Generation STEAM is hosting its first “I See Me” Conference for high school girls on International Women’s Day on March 8, 2023. The all-day conference will serve 200-300 female students from San Diego Unified School District’s Title 1 high schools. Generation STEAM is seeking workshop proposals from women employed at STEM companies and community organizations.
