Fellowship Opportunity for College Students/Graduates/Veterans
Biocom California Institute’s Life Science Young Leaders Fellowship and Veterans in Life Sciences Fellowship programs kick off in January 2024. These free 6-month career exploration programs for underrepresented populations and veterans/transitioning military provide participants with an overview of the life science industry and career opportunities with in it, mentorship, professional development training, industry networking events and more. Biomanufacturing Certificate Partnership: Elevate Your Career
Biocom California Institute partnered with California State University Continuing Education to create a Biomanufacturing Sciences and Applications certificate. This industry-recognized certificate program benefits recent graduates and seasoned professionals seeking biomanufacturing positions. With a projected 10% job growth rate over the next decade, opportunities abound at all education and experience levels. Cal State University’s Long Beach, Fullerton, and Los Angeles campuses collaborated to offer this virtual statewide program. 2024 HR Executive Educational Program
Announcing the upcoming cohort for the HR Executive Educational Program by Biocom California Institute, starting in February 2024. Our primary objective is to nurture the future generation of HR leaders within the life science industry by providing an enriching platform for participants to learn, evolve, and establish valuable professional connections. Tailored for individuals stepping into the Head of HR/ VP of HR/ CHRO role and aiming to refine their executive skills, this program offers engagement in strategic sessions and the opportunity to learn from accomplished experts. Topics covered include: executive presence and influencing; organizational growth and scaling; finance for the HR executive; partnering with your board of directors, and more. Spanning 20 weeks, participants will have the chance to connect with peers, broaden their professional network, and gain insights from industry experts.
