Executive Chairman
Mark Gergen is currently the executive chairman of Poseida Therapeutics having previously served as CEO, president, chief business officer and chief financial officer. Mark has over 35 years of experience serving in executive leadership roles of multiple public and private healthcare companies with a focus on leadership, strategy, capital generation and transformative corporate development. Prior to Poseida, he served as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Halozyme, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Mirati Therapeutics and senior vice president of corporate development at Amylin Pharmaceuticals. Mark earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. in business administration from Minot State University.
