Principal
Pascal Krotee, Ph.D., joined RiverVest in 2021 as a senior associate and was promoted to principal in 2023. With her versatile background, Pascal focuses on sourcing and completing due diligence on prospective portfolio companies in both the biopharmaceutical and medical device sectors. She is a board member at Bluejay Therapeutics and at a stealth RiverVest portfolio company, and she acts as a board observer at Avalyn Pharma and Biolinq. Prior to joining the RiverVest team, Pascal spent nearly four years as an investment associate at Kairos Ventures, where she sourced new opportunities for investment, led due diligence and served on the boards of directors of several portfolio companies.
Pascal holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from UCLA. Prior to graduate school, Pascal worked as junior specialist at the Development Biology Center at UC Irvine, where she earned a B.S. in developmental and cell biology with a minor in business management. Pascal is a 2023 winner of Biocom California’s Life Science Catalyst Award, recognizing her as a top-ten life science trailblazer.
